Onboarding as a contractor
You finish a contract and now you need the client to pay you. They send a vendor form; you send back a W-9 and your banking details over email, again. The obvious fix is to flip the direction: you send the client a link, and their system writes you in as a vendor. You cannot do this with ShareLess today.
An individual cannot open a session
Not covered todayEvery connection starts with one authenticated call, and that call checks a bearer key against an allowlist of businesses we have onboarded by hand. With no key, or a key we do not recognise, it refuses. There is no personal tier, no route that mints a key for an individual, and no signup form. So the party who sends the link is always the business, and the party who approves is always the person. Flipping those roles is not a setting; it is code that does not exist.
What would have to change
Designed, not builtTwo things, and neither is cosmetic. A person would need to be able to open a session, which means an identity that can hold a key without becoming an allowlisted business. And the approving side would need to be a company rather than a phone, which means the approval could not be a hold-to-confirm on someone's iPhone. Both are real design problems we have not solved.
What you can do today, if the client is the one who moves
Limited pathThe unflipped version works, with a step in the middle: a client we have onboarded declares the vendor details it needs and sends you the link, the AI you already use reads that ask and proposes the specific items, and then you approve the set once on your phone rather than emailing documents. It only works if the AI you hand the link to has the ShareLess connector added, and it is available to a client willing to be a design partner.

Why this page is not a waiting list
We could have written this as a coming-soon page with a form on it. The reason we did not is that the contractor case is the one where the gap between the idea and the code is widest, and a form would imply we are a sprint away. We are not. When an individual can open a session, this page will say so and will show you how.
